I consider many things when looking for a horse to have a bet on. I check the form book and watch as much racing as possible. I study trainers recent form, jockey and trainer combined stats (when teaming up). I also consider sire stats, the ground, the race type and the current handicap mark (assuming it’s a handicap race). If it all adds up and the price is acceptable, then I will have a punt on it.
