Naas Racecourse is a left-handed Irish horse racing venue near Punchestown in County Kildare. There are both flat and National Hunt events over jumps held on this undulating track.
A circuit of the round course at Naas is about a mile-and-a-half. There are also some point to point races held here as well as horse racing under rules.
The stiff uphill finish of around half-a-mile and means the track best suits strong galloping horses.
Besides hosting some Classic trials on the flat and big handicaps in both codes, another of the feature Naas races is the Grade 1 Lawlor’s of Naas Novice Hurdle over two-and-a-half miles in January.
