Kilbeggan Racecourse is a sharp, right-handed and oval-shaped Irish National Hunt horse racing venue near Kilbeggan in County Westmeath.
An undulating track with a short uphill run-in, it favours good jumpers but also horses with speed on the level between hurdles and fences who like to race up front.
A full circuit of Kilbeggan races is only nine furlongs (just over a mile) which highlights just how tight the track is, especially for jumps events.
The course is only used between April and September, so there is no traditional winter National Hunt horse racing held here.
